Last Sunday on September 13, the International Programmer’s Day, ADCI Solutions participated in the HappyDev-Lite, an IT conference for Omsk pupils and students, who are interested in IT and design. The purpose of this conference was to show them the beautiful world with endless opportunities and to give them a peek into what they might do in just several years. All reports were divided into 2 tracks: development and design, the latter of which was the one ADCI Solutions presented a report in. Our web-designer Lera Tkacheva delivered a session about a profession of web-designer, its responsibilities, and career opportunities.
But sessions were not the only part of the conference! Another goal of this events was to acquaint young people with Omsk IT companies. And there is no better way to do it than to organize a career fair. We had our own stand with the ADCI Solutions logo on it where we communicated with all participants and told them about our company. In addition, everybody was offered to take part in a small contest and to get a chance to spend time with one of our front-end and back-end developers or a designer. It is an opportunity to dive into the workflow of our specialists, talk with them and to ask them the most interesting questions. We’ve already chosen three winners of this contest who will come to our office and get their prizes tomorrow!
It was the second HappyDev-Lite ADCI solutions sponsored and participated in. We are happy that such an amount of young people attend events like this and we do our best to improve ourselves and to develop an Omsk IT community.
