This post is dedicated to new Drupal themes produced in January. Creating Drupal themes is a one of ADCI Solutions' kind of activity. Thus in this overview I as a designer would like to emphasize design features which were used in these themes. As we hope it should help young designers to be up to date about the most beautiful and modern themes and find some inspiration to create their own great examples on Drupal.
1. TAK - Responsive Onepage Portfolio Drupal
It's one page portfolio theme which can be used as corporate theme for small and medium companies. Top part of the page has tiles design as Windows 8. This theme has simple and bright design. Also admin can set any of 6 preseted colors: titles, icons and few elements color will be changed. TAK has few interesting effects such as "real-time" tally indicators. This theme is compatible with the Drupal 7 and higher. It's fully responsible but isn't adapted for Retina displays.

2. ME - Multipurpose, Creative Drupal Theme
It's a beautiful white clean theme with variety of options and elements. It can be used for indIvidual portfolio as well as for large company. Such ability is shown by 5 versions of the homepage; some designs are more formal and some are filled with various elements and effects. Design is rather universal and can be used for different activities. It even has an ability to align all content by the right side. Theme has a number of predefined pages and shortcode support. It provides 8 preset styles but color options are unlimited.Theme is built with SASS, has Drupal Mega slider and Parallax Scrolling Section and Drag&Drop Layout Builder. ME Theme using special icon font Font Awesome which contains 300+ scalable icons. Theme is responsible but isn't adapted for Retina displays.

3. BOOM - Multi-Purpose Drupal Theme
Nice and modern theme full of effects. It can be used in small and medium companies or for personal portfolio. Theme has an option box where you can see all predefined layouts on the fly. It also has different layouts for most common pages. Theme has fully responsive design and Retina adaptation. Mega Slider is included to Boom Theme.

4. Velocity - Feature Rich Drupal Theme
Velocity is a sharp and nice theme with great-designed elements. We think it really stands out with its quality. It has 8 versions of the homepage so this theme can be used widely for different purposes. Velocity theme has multiple choices for Portfolio and Blog, many predefined pages, 12 predefined color schemes and boxed and wide layouts. Theme is responsible, based on Omega. It has Mega Slider, Flex Slider and Nivo Slider included. Theme uses Font Awesome for scalable icons. Theme is responsive but non Retina-ready.

5. Liva - Responsive MultiPurpose Drupal Template
This theme is also sharp, bright and clean, it contains few predefined color schemes and wide and boxed layout options. It contains necessary set of pages as 404 page, About Us, Testimonials, etc. It has a number typography options and some nice elements like pricing tables. As we think it could be used in small and medium companies and for personal portfolio. This theme is fully responsive, but hasn't got Retina resolution. Liva theme has Twitter and Flickr widgets.

6. Astrum - Responsive Drupal Theme
This theme is simple, white and clean, it looks rather modern. But we should notify you about the loud sound once you open the homepage! :) Seems that it's an only surprise about this theme. Otherwise, it provides most common modern theme options as predefined colors and both wide and boxed layouts. It has Retina-ready version and it's definitely fully responsive. Multilanguage is supported. It has Twitter and Flickr widgets and Drupal Layer Slider.
